Finishing with an evaluation of the stock airbox and switching back the Eventuri intake left an unused temperature probe in the engine compartment.
I decided to hang the sensor probe near the downpipe to measure the temperature in that area during some routine driving.
Unsurprisingly, when the car is stationary the air temperature rises, and when the car is moving the temperature drops. When moving the air temperature is around 20 degrees Fahrenheit above the ambient air temperature.
Note: The high initial temperature is because the car was driven prior to recording this data.
