Jeff — what’s your opinion about the idea of running a WMI nozzle at the compressor outlet? We’ve been testing such a system in another platform car. Our thinking is less about trying to reduce the net IATs after intercooling and more about introducing fuel & water for enrichment purposes. Spraying into 300º airflows certainly vaporizes the injected fluid.
Seems like a crude carburetor. I think there are better options for that goal. My guess is you’ll probably end up with a good amount of the mixture on the walls of the charge pipes and inside of the intercooler and then that would make its way into the engine when you don’t want it there.
