My most recent efforts with the design of the MGM7 intake have focused on clearance with the hood.

A revised design with a shorter bend into the turbo inlet elbow enabled the upper edge of the intake to be moved lower.
The amount of intake inserted into the silicone coupler has also been reduced, which allows for a later turn into the coupler along the intake’s lower edge.
The test fitting was a success. Closing the hood pressed the Play-Doh ball down some, but left some space between the intake and the hood liner.
