Another intercooler option for the Mk7 GTI is the LT Motorsport front-mount intercooler. This is a Treadstone TR8L intercooler.
One of these intercoolers became available for testing and was installed on the flow bench to evaluate airflow performance.

Been following your work and am curious if you have tested the flow difference between the stock inlet hose (from air box to turbo inlet) and an after market hose?
I have not done a test where that is the only change.
All this means is there is more or less pressure drop over the brands. Doesn’t show how efficient they are. That would be a good test.
Yes, the flow test is a measure of airflow at a specific pressure drop. Efficiency with respect to cooling would be a different test.
