I was unable to break the code on the first week spreadsheets that 5150 had sent for me to provide my desired shift points for the DSG tune. Lacking guidance on what to do with them I proposed starting with the standard OTS DSG tune file and use that to gather data that I could use to compare with my target shift point values.
5150 was onboard with the suggestion and a short time later I had the base file installed and had gathered data on it. I used that information to point out deltas with my target values and 5150 took the feedback to create a revision of the base file.
Presently the first revision is installed and being evaluated. Even before reviewing the data-logs of the revised tune it was evident that significant changes toward the target values had been made.
