  1. I love your site. I check for updates every day. Keep up the good work! I have a 2017 S3 and I’m looking to get a new intake and I have a few questions I hope you don’t mind answering.

    1. If money was no object what intake would you buy?
    2. Why are you using an eventuri intake if other intakes had more airflow?
    3. I’m leaning towards the mst full intake for several reason but what is your opinion on that set up.

    Thanks again!

    1. Hey Marc, thanks for the feedback!
      1. I rarely buy new parts, I’m regularly following for sale boards to find good deals. I’d probably just stick with the stock airbox and modify it, it does well enough. The differences in the top performing intakes is not significant in my opinion for the turbo setup I’m using. If I were trying to go all out I’d probably look at Racingline, Forge, AMS, Unitronic; one of those closed systems that uses the full width of the grill.
      2. The Eventuri works well for accommodating the data logging equipment I have installed in the engine compartment. It frees up some room that I can use to stick the equipment.
      3. I’ve been using the MST intake recently to do a comparison of open versus closed systems. If I planned to keep using it long term I’d see if I could seal it off better with the stock intake duct. With the equipment I have in the area of the airbox the enclosure doesn’t fit too well, but that’s unique to my setup, but makes it hard to give an opinion on how well it fits. No major complaints from the short time I have used it.
