Background:
With the Shuenk IS48 turbocharger installed, I flashed the ECU with a tune I had previously used with the Lader LM440 IS20 turbocharger. The turbochargers are similar enough that the lower boost tune should suffice for verifying that the turbo installation went correctly.


I did find a part that was not installed fully, the temperature sensor at the turbocharger compressor outlet was not secured and came loose during boost checks.

Aside from this, things looked good, and I flashed a higher boosting tune onto the car.

With the checkout complete, I will begin working with Shuenk and Russell Road & Racing to test the performance of this turbocharger.
