Following a good performance on a flow test the Wagner Tuning intercooler is being installed on my GTI.
The Wagner IC is replacing an Integrated Engineering v1 intercooler that has been installed for the past several weeks along with a Majesty Bicooler.
On the subject of Majesty intercoolers, I’ve read a few times that the Majesty stock location IC is a “clone” of the Wagner Tuning IC. After having had both intercoolers available to evaluate I would not describe the Majesty as a clone of the Wagner, there are notable differences in the designs of each intercooler.

Another statement I’ve read a few times about the Wager IC is that the core is one of the largest available for a stock location intercooler. It is by no means a small core, but it is not larger than other readily available stock location aftermarket intercoolers.
Next up will be evaluating how the Wagner intercooler performs on the street with my IS38+ equipped GTI.
