Background:
This post is a continuation of data collection related to the air temperature between the AC condenser and the stock location intercooler that was described in the post: AC Condenser Temps – Part 3.
The air temperature is measured with the Air Conditioner running and then with it off.
Results:
The air temperature with the air conditioner operating is shown first.
Consistent with the previous results the air temperature between the condenser and IC is elevated above the ambient air temperature.
The next chart shows the temperature when the air conditioner is off.
Once again, the results are consistent with the previous measurements that showed the temperature of interest to be near ambient.
Conclusions:
A second drive measuring the air temperature between the air conditioning condenser and stock location intercooler produced similar results to a previous data collection.
When the air conditioner is operating the air temperature increases by 15-20 degF, and when the air conditioner is off the temperature is close the the ambient air temperature.
