Can’t get street data without having the intercooler installed on the GTI. The IE V2 is now in place.

I was pleasantly surprised that for such a large intercooler the install was painless, I’ve installed a few smaller intercoolers that were much more work than the IE V2 was.

The detachable brackets for securing the AC condenser are a very slick idea and work great.

The attention to detail in this update is evident in how well it fits with the stock parts.

Now looking forward to see how it performs on the road compared to the IE v1 intercooler.
Jeff, Did your IE v2 intercooler come with charge pipes? IE’s v1 intercooler came with charge pipes, but in examining the IE website and installation instructions, it appears that the v2 no longer comes bundled with IE’s charge pipes (so while it’s priced the same as the v1, it seems you no longer get the silicone charge pipes). Appreciate your feedback. Thanks for all the great testing that you do.
It did not. My understanding is that is now how it is sold, no IC hoses or clamps.
