A flow test is performed to measure airflow through a stock Mk7 GTI airbox with the snow grate removed and using a MST inlet hose and turbo inlet pipe. This is a variation of the MST/Stock setup that was compared with aftermarket intakes. The change in this case is the substitution of a stock air filter for the aFe filter.

Note: The stock filter is used.
Results:

The change from the aFe air filter to the stock air filter produces a drop in airflow from 383 CFM to 375 CFM.
Thanks for the review, very
interesting.
In Europe is very difficult to find aFe filters, any good alternative?
I have not tested any others. Perhaps AEM?
